Safety Policy
It is the number one priority of Quantam Petrochemical Plant Services Limited to provide an HSE System for all of its employees which seeks to eliminate or minimise the potential for unsafe acts, conditions as well as any negative impacts on the environment.
Management is fully commited to -
- The Identification of hazards and the implementation of mitigating measures to either eliminate the risk or reduce it to an acceptable level.
- To provide Safe Systems of work for all of our employees through our mechanisms for Risk Assessments and Job Hazard Analysis.
- To provide Safe Work Conditions and Equipment.
- To prevent all accidents and incidents as well as work related health issues through comprehensive Risk Assessments and the application of appropriate mitigating measures.
- Ensuring that arrangements are in place for the reporting of all accidents and incidents.
- Ensuring that arrangements are in place to address any emergency situation which may arise.
- Providing adequate training to ensure that employees are competent to perform the work to which they have been assigned.
- Mechanisms to provide the safe handling and transportation of harmful substances.
- The provision of mechanisms to facilitate the consultation with employees on HSE Management and Performance.
- Reviewing of this policy at least once per annum to ensure continued adequacy and suitability.
- 100% compliance with all applicable laws and relevant industry standards of practice concerning the health and safety of its employees.
- Minimizing any negative impacts on the environment as a result of its operations.
